Primarily, the choice of car leasing contract for business customers is contract hire, whereas the most popular contract for personal customers is PCP (or Personal Contract Purchase). Contract Hire
There are two main types of Contract Hire - Personal Contract Hire and Business Contract Hire. Both are car leasing contracts and both are fairly similar, with business leasing, (or business contract hire), you can, (as a UK business leasing customer), sometimes reclaim some of the VAT, whereas as a UK based personal leasing customer, you cannot reclaim any VAT. With business leasing of this type, the car is kept for a preset length of time (usually 2 or 3 years) and a preset mileage, then the car is returned to Alpha Leasing.
