You may not be personally familiar with the terms but over 70% of new vehicles in the UK car market are now provided on one of the two main types of con tr act hire provisions outlined below.

For the individual, a Personal Contract Purchase arrangement is often the most cost effective method of acquisition as it builds in options for you the client after a fixed term usually 2 or 3 years to retain the vehicle for a charge, or return to Alpha leasing and start again. A pre-set mileage agreement forms part of the contract which attr acts VAT at the standard rate.

For the business leasing client the primary difference is that some of the VAT element can usually be re-claimed.

The first important step is to choose the type of vehicle that you would most prefer. Your choice can either be very specific or simply generic. Most of our clients take into account the following: Monthly Budget / Make of vehicle / Model/ Colour / Specifications/ Delivery time.
